When we find our groove life starts to make sense. We might just reach a moment in time that feels like flow. But it is just that, a moment in time.
Suddenly, the floor we ground into begins to slip away as if we are in quicksand. Health fades, familiar trauma patterns arise, and our groove is lost. Inevitably, our flow is interrupted and the only thing we can do is show up and begin again.
In the beginning again, things feel hard. Muscles that haven’t been worked awaken and it can ache. Keep going. The energy of the ache turns into strength with time and breath.
