Sacred Human Journal is a place for poetry, storytelling, reflection, and the ongoing practice of being human. Named after Sacred Human, a collection of poems written over several years, the journal grew out of a desire to share not only the finished work, but also the experiences, questions, and moments that inspired it. Rather than releasing the collection all at once, the poems are being shared one by one through Substack, giving each piece space to land and be felt before moving on to the next.

For paid subscribers, each poem includes a personal audio recording and reflection. These recordings offer a glimpse behind the words, exploring the life experiences, nervous system insights, and quiet lessons that shaped the writing. Some reflections are tender, some are funny, and some arrive as the kind of realization that only becomes clear in hindsight.

Beyond the poetry, readers will find essays on healing, motherhood, travel, faith, relationships, and the unexpected ways life continues to teach and transform us. The writing is grounded in a deep respect for both the beauty and the messiness of being alive, with the understanding that our struggles and imperfections are not signs that something has gone wrong, but often the very places where wisdom takes root.

If you've ever found yourself searching for meaning after a difficult season, wondering how to trust your own path, or simply wanting to feel a little less alone in your humanity, you'll feel right at home.
